The Dream Fund was established to raise money for philanthropy initiatives aimed at giving back to the community, including the Inspiration Field Education Scholarship.

2023-2024 Scholarship Winners:

The Inspiration Field Education Scholarship is designed to encourage further education and raise awareness of intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Scholarship Award

Scholarships are available to students pursuing higher education at an accredited university, college, or trade school. These scholarships help cover expenses related to obtaining an Associate’s degree, Bachelor's degree, or trade certificate.

A maximum of three scholarships, each valued at $500, will be awarded for the 2024-2025 school year.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must intend to attend an accredited college, university, or trade school of choice.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or naturalized citizen.
  • Must complete the scholarship application.
  • Must graduate high school with a GPA between 2.0 and 3.49 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Must provide high school transcripts.
  • Must submit two letters of recommendation (include contact numbers for verification).
  • Must attend a high school in the lower Arkansas Valley, including, but not limited to, La Junta, Swink, Rocky Ford, Manzanola, Fowler, Ordway, Cheraw, McClave, or Las Animas.
  • Must be available for an in-person interview if selected as a finalist.
  • Any false or inaccurate information will automatically disqualify the applicant.

Payment

Scholarships will be paid directly to the accredited institution upon proof of registration. Funds will only be applied to tuition, books, room and board, and course-related materials/supplies.
